Calculate your average speed from your ride distance and time, and estimate the calories you burned.
How this works
Average speed = distance ÷ riding time. Calories use MET values for road cycling at your average speed, from 4.0 METs for leisurely riding under 10 mph up to 15.8 METs above 20 mph, with Calories = MET × 3.5 × body weight (kg) ÷ 200 × minutes.
Stop exercising and rest if you feel pain, dizziness or unusual shortness of breath. Check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
